I have a bachelors and a masters degree in Digital Design from Aarhus University, but what exactly does that mean?
The Digital Design program focuses on a mix of practical design skills geared towards digital artefacts (devices, websites etc.), relevant analytic research skills and some technical skills (like programming). These three pillars are developed together to produce designers who have strong domain knowledge, experience with a wide arsenal of design methods and processes, an ability to thoroughly understand complicated issues and the capacity to explain why one solution is better than another. Both my bachelors and masters has had a strong focus on working in teams and i thoroughly believe that design is better when we do it together.
